¿Sabías qué...? Una de las esculturas barrocas que tan bellamente adornan el Puente de Carlos IV de Praga y que representa a San Juan Nepomuceno (1340-1393), es la que mayor repercusión ha tenido a lo largo de la historia debido al martirio que sufrió este Santo por desacato al Rey Wenceslao IV, ya que se conoce que fue el confesor de la Reina y nunca reveló sus secretos al Rey. Este importante Santo, después de ser martirizado por el Rey, fue arrojado al río Moldava.

Did you know...? One so beautifully baroque sculptures adorn the Charles IV Bridge in Prague and representing San Juan Nepomuceno (1340-1393), is one that has had the greatest impact throughout history due to this saint suffered martyrdom for contempt of King Wenceslas IV because it is known that was the confessor of the queen and never revealed his secrets to the King.
