ABOUT ME

Combining the art of writing with professional architectural photography, motivated to find a way to channel all that enormous self through the production of books related to architecture. From my experience so far, and not forgetting the great works of architecture and engineering biggest and most important of all time, I started writing my first books about modern and contemporary architecture ...

Not to mention the actual architecture, my work is also transferred to the Contemporary Architects, avant-garde buildings, famous buildings, modern architecture, and Antoni Gaudí. No matter whatever you call the architect who designed an architectural interesting when a product is good, it is logical that crosses borders between countries with astonishing ease, however, for me the beginning of the modern era begins between 1884-1886 with the construction of the Statue of Liberty until today ...

Internationally renowned architects of his long and successful career as Santiago Calatrava, Norman Foster or Frank Gehry, etc., will be a comprehensive study now on ...

Other topics are very interesting Skyscrapers and Bridges. The Skyscrapers, for example, is one of the most interesting because of the great transformation that is emerging in the world of architecture by these giants of steel, glass and concrete, largely due to new materials and the large amount technological innovations that are taking place in this interesting world that continues, and continues to surprise us every day.

If we look back a little, it was believed that after the September 11th attacks was to finish the idea of continuing to build tall buildings, in fact stalled the skyscrapers that were at that time under construction, after a brief pause, the race to build the tallest skyscraper in the world has only just begun.

Many cities around the world continue to build skyscrapers in leaps and bounds. Dubai is today without doubt the fastest growing city in recent years. In this important city has just opened recently known by all for its long phase of construction, the Burj Dubai, which has become in 2010, the world's tallest skyscraper, designed by the prestigious architectural firm, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, SOM.

Currently, the leading architect has had to leave adapting to changing times. Climate change has led to the design of green architecture, green and sustainable, to be showing to make the buildings more self-sufficient. The renowned architect Norman Foster is true pioneer in this sector.

My Great pasion are the Skyscrapers, Bridges and interesting Buildings...

I am interested in large measure the history and evolution of the skyscraper from its beginnings until today. Therefore, I plan to also study in depth the most representative skyscrapers and interesting from the standpoint of structural and architectural are located in the birthplace of the skyscraper city par excellence.

New York, Chicago, Hong Kong, Shanghai and now Dubai, etc, are the major cities to consider where there are many skyscrapers and very interesting buildings and art that is worth studying in depth. My hopes and all my desire is put into it. So try to go slowly making known all these interesting architecture and engineering data from the end of IXX century to today.

You must know that all this great work will gradually publish in this Blog: José Miguel Hernández Hernández's Blog

I can not hide that I particularly like the work of Michelangelo Buonarroti, Antoni Gaudi and Santiago Calatrava ...
