Aquí se muestran algunas de las obras que forman parte de una importantísima lista elaborada por el prestigioso AIA Instituto Americano de Arquitectos, en la que se recogen los 150 edificios más queridos y representativos de la Arquitectura Americana. El famoso Empire State Building de Nueva York, que se erigió durante la Gran Depresión en poco más de un año en la carrera por construir el Rascacielos más alto del mundo, junto al Edificio Chrysler, entre otros, figura el primero de la lista.

Sorprende en gran medida que edificios como el John Hancock Center de Chicago, obra de Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, SOM, o el famoso Edificio Seagram de Nueva York, diseño de Mies Van der Rohe, verdaderos símbolos del Estilo Internacional, de la Segunda Escuela de Chicago, a pesar de su importancia en la historia de la Arquitectura del siglo XX no figuren en esta destacada lista de la Arquitectura Favorita Americana, AIA 150. Las obras están ordenadas por ciudades y/o ranking de las más votadas.
