Me complace presentarte la propuesta de los nuevos rascacielos diseño de Frank Gehry para su ciudad natal, Toronto. Aunque sólo es una primera idea, ya que el arquitecto suele realizar unos 50 modelos hasta alcanzar el resultado definitivo, los tres rascacielos post Eight Spruce Street, —y que poseen una auténtica forma escultural—, modificarán notablemente el ya bonito skyline de la ciudad, arropando a la famosa CN Tower (Torre Nacional de Canadá) anexa, tan sola en la actualidad debido a su gran altura para poder cumplir su función.

Las bellísimas torres residenciales, que tendrán entre 80 y 85 plantas, contarán a sus pies con un precioso podio de seis plantas que albergará un teatro, dos museos, centro comercial, terrazas y elegantes restaurantes. El ambicioso proyecto es fruto de la asociación entre el empresario David Mirvish y el arquitecto Frank Gehry, y viene a revitalizar el Distrito de Entretenimiento de la ciudad de Toronto donde se encuentran edificios emblemáticos como el Teatro Princesa de Gales, el Teatro Royal Alexandra o el Roy Thomson Hall, entre otros.

I am pleased to introduce you the proposed design of the new Frank Gehry skyscraper to his hometown of Toronto. Although only a first impression, as the architect usually made about 50 models to achieve the final result, the three skyscrapers post Eight Spruce Street, —and having a real sculptural form—, and pretty significantly altered skyline of the city, tucking the famous CN Tower attached, so alone today due to its high altitude in order to fulfill its function.

The beautiful residential towers, which have between 80 and 85 plants, tell their feet with a beautiful six-storey podium that will house a theater, two museums, shopping, and fine dining terraces. The ambitious project is the result of the partnership between entrepreneur David Mirvish and architect Frank Gehry, and comes to revitalizing the entertainment district of the city of Toronto where there are buildings like the Princess of Wales Theatre, the Royal Alexandra Theatre or Roy Thomson Hall, among others.
