Outside, the building is basically composed of three distinct facades consist of a curtain wall system, combining materials such as glass, aluminum and steel. The western and northern facades are flat, while the south façade provides the characteristic curve that converges on the square in front of the mall. A curious fact of the foundation with which they start the Moor House is that it is as deep across London, reaching no less than 57 meters, the reason that the pillars have to start so low was because they ran several railroad tracks on the site where the new building was erected. The Moorhouse was built on the same lot where he was formerly also called Moor House, an office building of 18 storeys high had been built in the mid-60's. The new project designed by the team of Norman Foster, for his design and art, has very quickly become an icon for this city.
